The opportunity
- Take full ownership of daily restaurant operations and overall business performance.
- Lead high-volume service from the dining room floor, kitchen, or expo line as needed.
- Maintain exceptional standards for food quality, presentation, timing, service, and guest interaction.
- Partner with culinary leadership to ensure consistent execution across all kitchen stations.
- Conduct line checks, facility walks, opening inspections, and operational follow-up.
- Prepare for and oversee health-department, food-safety, sanitation, and third-party inspections.
- Recruit, hire, train, schedule, coach, and develop front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
- Lead and develop the restaurant management team while maintaining clear accountability.
- Build a positive workplace culture centered on respect, teamwork, professionalism, and excellence.
- Assume full responsibility for P&L performance, budgeting, forecasting, labor, inventory, and controllable expenses.
- Maximize sales, profitability, guest frequency, and long-term financial performance.
- Maintain effective food-cost, beverage-cost, portion-control, and waste-management systems.
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and build relationships with regular and high-profile clientele.
- Implement operating procedures, training initiatives, menu changes, and business priorities.
- Deliver the performance required to support bonus and potential profit-sharing opportunities.
What the role requires
- At least five years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume, full-service environment.
- Substantial experience as a General Manager or senior operating leader is required.
- Experience in high-end Mexican, Latin, upscale casual, fine dining, luxury hospitality, or chef-driven concepts is strongly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of both front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
- Demonstrated success leading high-volume service from the floor and expo.
- Proven ability to recruit, train, coach, motivate, and retain high-performing teams.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, inventory, labor planning, and cost control.
- Track record of increasing sales, improving profitability, and strengthening operational performance.
- Experience preparing for health-department, sanitation, food-safety, and third-party inspections.
- Strong communication, leadership, organization, and decision-making skills.
- Professional presence and the ability to engage confidently with guests, employees, and senior leadership.
- Ability to remain calm, organized, and solution-oriented under pressure.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and high-volume periods.
- Equivalent professional experience will be considered in place of formal education.

- Base salary of $100,000-$145,000, based on experience and qualifications.
